Row of shops hit in Ang Mo Kio blaze

These two shops are among a row of shop units hit by a fire, which had first ravaged a digital photography shop (on the right), at Block 716, Ang Mo Kio Avenue 6 at about 11am on Tuesday.
Eyewitnesses said a Digital Photo Express shop assistant had rushed out of the unit just before the fire started raging. Singapore Civil Defence Force firefighters took about 10 minutes to put down the blaze. The fire affected at least seven other shop units but no one was hurt.
