MUMBAI: A fire erupted on Tuesday evening in a six-storey building at Lokandwala market in Mumbai’s Andheri.
According to the fire brigade, the blaze started in the B-wing of the Nebula building at 7.35pm in a flat located on the second floor of the building. Three fire engines, two jumbo water tankers, and one quick response vehicle were rushed to the site.
The building has a hospital located on the first floor; however, civic officers said that they had confirmed with hospital staff who stated that patients had been evacuated from it. No injuries have been reported in the incident so far.
