Fire in fruit market of Alambagh

Lucknow: Two incidents of fire in a fruit market in Alambagh and at the office of a private company in Gomtinagar gave firemen a tough time on Tuesday.
In Alambagh, some residents spotted fumes emanating from the market early in the morning. The shop owners rushed to the scene and attempted to douse the fire but in vain. The shop owners who suffered losses have been identified as Siraj, Viraj, Bhagwandas Irfan and Dharmendra.
In another incident, a fire caused heavy damage to a private telecommunications office housed on the third floor of Rudra Square building in Gomtinagar. CFO, Lucknow, Mangesh Kumar, said that no loss was caused to human life and in both cases the fires were caused due to short circuits. TNN
