Fire breaks out at garment warehouse in south Delhi, no casualties

NEW DELHI: A fire erupted at a clothing warehouse situated in the southern part of Delhi on Saturday morning, officials said. The incident was reported at 5.25am when the fire was noticed on the warehouse located on the rooftop of a building in South Extension Part-1.
As many as eight fire tenders were dispatched to the scene. By 9am, the fire had been successfully extinguished, and fortunately, no injuries were recorded during the incident.
The garments stored within the warehouse were consumed by the flames, leading to significant damage.
The structure where the fire originated consists of multiple levels, including a basement, two floors, and a terrace, as specified by the officials.
