Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal expresses grief after fatal fire incident on train in Madurai

NEW DELHI: Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal expressed his condolences over the train fire incident at Madurai railway station.
The incident, which occurred in the early hours of Saturday, resulted in the loss of eight lives
“Deeply saddened to learn about the train fire accident. My condolences to the families of the deceased. I pray to God that all the injured recover soon and reunite with their families,” the Delhi chief minister posted on X.
Madurai district collector said that a fire that started on a stationary tourist train had led to the loss of eight lives.
Additionally, people who were injured in the incident have been taken to Madurai’s Government Rajaji Hospital for treatment. Efforts to rescue individuals are currently under way at the site of the incident.
