Man arrested for setting fire to grandpa’s house

CEBU, Philippines – Police arrested an alleged drug addict for setting fire yesterday to his grandfather’s house in sitio Buyong in barangay Maribago, Lapu-Lapu City.
Junrey Igot Cacha, 31, was immediately arrested.
Nothing was left of the house that belonged to Ramon Igot, 57.
No one was hurt except for two pigs that sustained injuries. Cacha also shot at the pigs, hitting one thrice on the back. The other pig was hit on the left ear.
PO1 Steven Zozobrado, one of the policemen who responded to the alarm, said Cacha had admitted setting the fire.
Zozobrado said Cacha has a pending warrant of arrest for illegal possession of a firearm.
Seized from Cacha was a.38 caliber revolver.
Cacha reportedly fired his gun indiscriminately Monday evening.
