2,000 cotton bales destroyed in fire

MORBI (RAJKOT): A major fire broke out in a ginning mill in Tankara on Friday night. Firefighters took five hours to bring the fire under control. According to officials from Morbi fire brigade, the fire broke out in Ajanta Ginning Mill, some 2 kilometre from Tankara.
“About 2,000 cotton bales were reduced to ashes. We used the water cannon continuously for about five hours to douse the fire,” said a fire brigade official.
