Fire breaks out in Mumbai’s Indira Nagar Chawl; no injuries reported

MUMBAI: A fire broke out at Indira Nagar Chawl in Qureshi Nagar, Kurla East on Friday morning at around 5am. A local resident informed the fire brigade around 5.22am.
The fire brigade arrived at the spot around 5.34am along with 5 fire engines and two jumbo water tankers. An ambulance had also been rushed to the site.
They found that the blaze had spread across the chawl damaging household items including electric installs and wooden furniture. The fire was extinguished around 7.08am.
