NEW DELHI: Two fire incidents were reported in different areas of the city on Monday. No casualties were reported. In another incident, a fire broke out at a tented warehouse in southwest Delhi’s Vasant Kunj. Twelve fire tenders were rushed to the spot.
Officials said the fire control room received an alert about the blaze at the plastic factory in Narela in the early hours of Monday. “The fire was successfully extinguished within three hours and no injuries were reported. Initial investigations suggest the possibility of a short-circuit as the cause, though no official case has been registered so far,”an official said.
In the second incident, fire officials received information about the blaze at 11:32 am, prompting the dispatch of 12 fire tenders. The fire occurred in a temporary tent godown structure and was brought under control by 1:35 pm.
