One dead, two injured in garment shop fire in Andheri

MUMBAI: One person died and two others were injured after a fire erupted in a garment shop at Andheri (east) around 3 am on Sunday.
The incident took place in a ground plus one storey garment shop located at Khairani Road, Kachra Gully in Saki Naka, Andheri(E)
According to BMC soon after the incident was reported fire engines, ambulances and local ward and police staff rushed to the site. The blaze was extinguished at 3.43 am.
The three who initially were found suffocated were rushed to Rajwadi hospital in Ghatkopar. Off them the deceased was identified as Shamshad, 35, whose full identity is yet to be established while the injured were identified as Nijamuddin, 45 whose condition is critical and Aslam, 30 who has been admitted in the ICU.
