Fire breaks out at BHEL stockyard in Jharkhand, none injured

RANCHI:A massive fire broke out at the BHEL stockyard, situated in the North Karanpura stockyard within the Tandwa area of Jharkhand’s Chatra district on Saturday..
The BHEL stockyard is positioned approximately 150 km away from Ranchi, the state capital.
A press release issued by BHEL authorities stated that a fire broke out around 1:30 pm in the BHEL Material Yard of the North Karanpura Super Thermal Power Project (NKSTPP) located in Chatra district, Jharkhand.
The CISF Fire team and Disaster team swiftly responded to the scene. In addition to the CISF Fire Team from NKSTPP, personnel from nearby industries and district administrations were deployed to extinguish the fire. The company stated that there were no casualties or injuries reported.
Dinesh yadav, a guard at BHEL, said, “We saw that around 1:00, the fire had started to spread… We only saw the smoke and fire. It was all spreading in the sky…”
The authorities stated that they were currently assessing the root cause of the fire and the extent of the damage.
