Fire breaks out at three-storey building in Pune’s Raviwar Peth

PUNE: A fire broke out at a grocery shop on the ground floor of a three-storey building in Pune City’s Raviwar Peth area on Monday morning, according to authorities.
The Pune Fire Department dispatched a fire brigade team to the location upon receiving the alert and began extinguishing the flames. Smoke could be seen pouring from the building in thick plumes.
The fire brigade team controlled the fire with the help of three fire tender vehicles and one water tanker, said an official from the Pune Fire Department. The official also stated that the incident resulted in no injuries or fatalities.
The cause of the fire and the extent of the damage are currently unknown.
