Fire breaks out at residential building in Delhi, firefighter among 3 injured

NEW DELHI: Three people, including a firefighter sustained minor burn injuries during a fire incident at a residential building in Rohini, Delhi on Saturday morning, according to officials.
The Delhi Fire Services dispatched six fire tenders to the location in Sector 14 after receiving a call about the incident at 6:02am.
An official stated, ‘Two people received 10 per cent injuries and a firefighter also got injured during the rescue operation, which continued for three hours’.
The injured were immediately transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. The official confirmed that the fire occurred in a residential building.
The official added, ‘We are trying to know the cause of the fire. Further investigation is underway’.
