Fire on dumper at Mumbra bypass hits traffic on Monday evening

Thane: A fire triggered in a dumper at Mumbra bypass hit the traffic briefly on Monday evening.
An official said that the fire was brought under control by the combined efforts of emergency response teams. No casualties or injuries was reported in the incident.
The incident, was reported at 6 pm, when a heavy dumper bearing carrying 34 tons of fine gravel was enroute from Wada to Navi Mumbai.
The driver fled the scene but the Personnel from the Mumbra police station and city traffic police, alongside firefighters equipped with two fire tenders . Till last reprogs came in, situation is under control, and there is no immediate threat posed by the incident.
