Labourers’ hutment in Una village gutted

Kullu: A massive fire broke out in a hutment of migrant labourers near Lal Singh village of Una district on Tuesday.
According to district administration officials, over a dozen shanties were burnt down in the blaze. However, no loss of life has been reported.
The fire broke out in the afternoon and the locals immediately informed the fire department.
As fire tenders took time to reach the spot, the villagers along with migrant labourers tried dousing the fire but in vain.
Most of the labourers couldn’t even take out their belongings as the fire spread quickly. By the time the fire tenders reached the village the entire hutment had been razed.
A fire official said the reason for the fire was being probed.
