Firecracker shop goes up in flames at Bogulkunta

Hyderabad: A major fire broke out in a wholesale firecrackers store in Bogulkunta at Abids on Sunday night. The incident occurred at Paras Fire Crackers, which was completely engulfed in flames.
The inferno caused the pyrotechnics stored inside the shop to detonate incessantly for nearly an hour, creating panic and chaos in the vicinity. Just a few moments before the blaze spread to the entire building, there was a stampede as patrons and workers tried to escape from the conflagration. Some of the ignited firecrackers hit the people as they were trying to get away. Several vehicles in close proximity to the shop also caught fire.
Upon receiving the information, four fire tenders were rushed to the location to douse the flames. The firefighters faced a challenging task as the crackers kept exploding, making it difficult to approach the shop and contain the fire. The cause of the fire is still unknown, and authorities have launched an investigation to determine the origin of the blaze. Initial reports suggest that the fire may have started due to a short circuit or mishandling of the crackers.
As the firefighting operations continued, the authorities have not yet confirmed any loss of life or injuries as the focus remains on extinguishing the fire completely and preventing it from spreading to nearby buildings.
