RAUTAHAT: A fire erupted from petrol leakage at a grocery store injured three persons including the shopkeeper in Murtiya of Sarlahi on Saturday night.
The shop operated by Ram Bilas Sah at Murtiya Bazaar of Murtiya-8 had caught fire at around 9 pm today.
The shop had kept petrol in bottles for sale.
Shopkeeper Sah, his son Lalbabu and a customer Lalbabu Yadav of Murtiya-3 sustained burn injuries in the incident, said the District Police Office (DPO), Sarlahi.
Goods kept at the store were also destroyed by the fire.
Police Inspector Birendra Thakur said the father-son duo were referred to the Narayani Sub-Regional Hospital, in Birgunj after primary treatment at the District Hospital.
Both are in critical condition, police said.
Yadav is undergoing treatment at a local clinic.
