Chittagong factory on fire

A ready-made garment factory in Chittagong’s Halishahar is on fire.
Two floors of ‘Fresher Apparels Ltd’ at South Halishahar caught fire around 7:30am on Tuesday, said Chittagong Fire Service Deputy-Assistant Director Jashim Uddin.
“Eight engines from three fire service units worked to put out the fire on the fourth and fifth floor.”
The factory building is located opposite to Sultan Mohammad Barrister College.
The flames came under control after two hours.
It is not yet known if anyone was injured in the fire.
The extent of damage was not yet known.
