3 hurt in Manila fire

MANILA, Philippines – Fire broke out Friday in a residential area in Manila, injuring at least three persons and destroying P800,000（17,864$：1PHP=0.022331USD,14/10/07 rate） worth of property.
The blaze started around noon at the corner of Tambunting Street and Rizal Avenue in Sta. Cruz, Manila.
The flames quickly spread, razing a total of eight houses in the area.
The identities of the injured residents were not yet available as of this posting.
Arson investigators have yet to determine the cause of the fire.
