Fire breaks out at Golden Mile Complex

A fire broke out at the Golden Mile Complex in Beach Road on Wednesday, according to an employee working there.
The employee, who wanted to be known only as Miss Lynne, sent The Straits Times a video. Footage showed smoke coming out of the building, while people stood at the entrance. Electricity was cut off at some parts of the building.
According to a reader who wrote to Stomp, the fire started from a rubbish chute behind the complex.
