Shoe factory fire in Fuqing county, Fuzhou

A fire took place at a local shoe company in Fuqing county, Fuzhou, Fujian province on the morning of Oct 29.
No one was injured, and the fire was put out by firefighters at around 11 am.

The fire started at around 6:30 am in a workshop, and spread very fast, according to a witness who is an employee.
“There was thick smoke everywhere, looking terrible. And my fellows and I ran out after removing some inflammable materials left at the gate.”
He said the fire might have been triggered by damaged electrical wiring.
