Fire rages through 12 shop houses in Bangkok

Twelve shop-house buildings in Bangkok’s Bangkok Yai district were destroyed in a massive fire early Friday morning.
The shop houses of two blocks were located on Soi Phetkasem 4. Most of them were modified as factories.
The fire broke out at one block at 3 am and quickly spread to the other. Ten fire engines took about an hour to control the blaze. No one was injured.
