Luxury Boat Destroyed In Fire In Langkawi

ALOR SETAR, Nov 12 (Bernama) — A luxury boat belonging to an Australian was destroyed in a fire in Langkawi Wednesday evening.
The owner of the boat, costing about RM231,000 was away when the fire occurred in Kapung Bohor Darat about 6.40pm.
A Kedah Fire and Rescue Department spokesman said firemen in three engines were despatched to the scene, only to find the vessel in flames.
He said the firemen prevented the blaze from spreading to six other luxury boats nearby.
