Fire at Bangkok plastics factory

A fire at a plastics factory in Bangkok’s Jomthong district early Friday afternoon caused major damage, but there were no injuries reported.
The fire began around 12.10pm at Thai Polyplaspack Co on Rama 2 Road of Jomthong distirct.
About 10 fire trucks and their crews rushed to battle the flames, but access to the building was made difficult by narrow roads.
The firefighters took more than one hour to control the blaze, which also damaged some houses next door.
The cause of fire was still being investigated and damage assessed.
