Boy killed in Manila fire

A boy was killed while two others were injured after fire broke out at a residential area in Manila, leaving some 20 families homeless.
A radio report said that the body of the victim, said to be seven years old, was discovered by firefighters at the second floor of the house along Munoz Street, Bario Texas, Malate, Manila.
Meanwhile, two persons were injured while helping to put out the fire, the report added.
Initial investigation showed that blaze in the area started around 2 a.m. Firefighters managed to put out the flames an hour later.
Arson investigators are still determining the cause of the fire.
