Palawan fire destroys P20M in property

Some P20 million in property was destroyed in a residential area fire in Barangay Tagumpay, Coron town, Palawan, GMA News TV’s “Balitanghali Weekend” reported Sunday.
Though no one was injured, the fire razed eight houses and five establishments.
Firefighters had a hard time getting to the fire because of the narrow streets and the crowds that formed to watch the fire.
The report said that the fire started at the roof of the former vice mayor’s house.
