Fire at Lord Buddha Academy in Biratnagar

BIRATNAGAR: A fire that broke out at the Lord Buddha Academy (LBA) here has caused an estimated loss of Rs 300,000 this morning.
A store room of the LBA caught fire in the beginning and the flame spread, perishing books, fans, computers, furniture, and others, according said LBA Chairman Gyan Bahadur Khadka.
The joint efforts of two fire engines from Biratnagar Sub-Metropolis, police personnel and locals brought the fire under control in an hour.
Police said the fire might have started due to electric short circuit.
