Christmas day fire razes 5 Makati houses

Some five Makati City houses were razed in a fire early Christmas Day.
The fire at the corner of Balagtas and JP Rizal Streets in Barangay West Rembo started at 2:32 a.m., reached the third alarm, and was put out past 4 a.m.
While no one was reported injured, the fire destroyed some P500,000 in property, radio dzBB reported.
Arson investigators are following a lead which points to an electrical short circuit causing the fire. — Joel Locsin/DVM, GMA News
