1 injured, 3 vehicles burnt in ‘cylinder blast’ at Nuvem

Three vehicles – two cars and a motorcycle – were burnt in a fire that broke out in a shed adjoining a house owned by Anastasio Rodrigues at Fatepur, Nuvem, on Wednesday. The incident occurred at around 1pm, police sources said.
Police suspect that there were gas cylinders inside one of the cars and an explosion in one of the cylinders led to the fire.
Joao Faleiro sustained burn injuries in the incident and has been admitted to the Goa Medical College and hospital for treatment, police sources said.
