Barge at Naresuan film set destroyed by fire

An old barge at a film set of “The Legend of King Naresuan” caught fire on Saturday night, causing damage estimated at 26 million baht, police said on Sunday morning.
The barge was 30 metres long and eight metres wide. Firefighters rushed to the film set, located at Surasee Military Camp in Kanchanaburi, and took about an hour to control the blaze. However, the barge was heavily damaged.
Police said they suspected the special effects were the cause of fire.
According to reports, the construction cost of the barge was 26 million baht.
