Private bus carrying 10 people catches fire in Jurong, no one injured

SINGAPORE – A private bus carrying about 10 people, including the driver, caught fire on Thursday morning.
No one was injured in the incident that took place at the junction of Boon Lay Way and Jurong East Central.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force was alerted to the incident at about 7.30am. A spokesman said the fire started in the engine compartment of the bus.
The passengers and driver evacuated themselves.
