Unidentified group sets house on fire in Tanahun

DAMAULI: An unidentified group set ablaze a house belonging to Obhe Bahadur Thapa of Belatar, Ramjakot-6 of Tanahun on Friday.
According to a preliminary investigation, a group of three to four persons set fire to the two-storey thatched roof house of Thapa and fled the scene.
Properties worth around Rs. 400,000 were reduced to rubble in the fire, a family member informed.
It has been learnt that a six-member family of Thapa is taking shelter at a neighbour’s house.
Earlier, a group of unidentifed persons had tried to set Thapa’s house on fire by sprinkling petrol.
The case is under investigation.
