6 houses gutted in Panchthar fire

PHIDIM: Six houses were engulfed in a fire that broke out at Dandagaun, Prangbung-5 of Panchthar on Friday night.
According to the District Police Office, Panchthar, the fire started from the house of Dilli Prasad Sawa and quickly spread to other houses.
Houses belonging to Dilli Prasad Sawa, Chandra Bahadur Sawa, Bikram Sawa, Nisan Sawa and two other houses were destroyed in the blaze, police informed.
Details of the property gutted in the fire are yet to be established.
The cause behind the fire is still unknown.
Police said that the fire was later taken under control with the help of locals and police personnel deployed from Prangbung, Memeng and Sindan.
Deepak Kharel, Chief of the DPO informed that reinforcement police forces were also sent to put off the blaze.
He said that the authorities are collecting the details of property gutted in the fire.
