Fire in south Delhi office kills 52-year-old man

A 52-year-old man was choked to death when a fire broke out at an abandoned office in the commercial building in south Delhi’s Kotla Mubarakpur area on Saturday night.
The deceased, Lalendra Mandal was a resident of Bihar and was a driver by profession. The incident was reported around 1am when the man was sleeping, said a police official.
Four fire tenders were rushed to the spot and the fire was doused before it spread to the other floors. The rescue operation lasted for 40 minutes.
