Fire at Priyangon Shopping Centre near Dhaka’s Science Lab intersection doused

Fire has gutted a number of shops at Priyangon Shopping Centre, a three-storied market near Science Laboratory intersection in Dhaka.
“It broke out on the first floor of the market which has a number of tailoring shops,” New Market Police ASI Hamidul Islam told bdnews24.com.
Six units of the fire service tamed the fire that broke out around 9:20am on Thursday in under half an hour, Fire Sevice Control Room’s official Enayet Hossain said.
The market’s shop owners association president, Mohammad Nurunnabi told bdnews24.com that the fire broke out at Almas Tailors and spread to adjoining shops. A number of shops have been gutted.
