Five women workers injured in fire at perfume factory at Nalasopara.

Five woman workers and a man sustained burn injuries when a fire broke out in a perfume manufacturing factory in Nalasopara (east) on Wednesday.
According to the police, a fire broke out in the Lava and Sons factory at Choudhary Compound, Wakhanpada in Nalasopara (east) at around 3.30 pm. The woman workers sustained around 30 to 50 per cent burns and are being treated at the Golden Park hospital in Vasai (west). The fire spread to the neighbouring factories. Around six fire tankers were rushed to the spot. The fire was brought under control by 6 pm, even as cooling exercise was on.
Fire brigade officials said that power supply to the locality was discontinued. The cause of fire has not been ascertained yet. Police has registered an accident case. Further investigation is on.
