Fire burns down 250 shanty houses of displaced persons

A massive fire burned down 250 shanty houses in the Ban Mai Nai Soi Displaced Persons Centre in Mae Hong Son’s Mueang district at 11:30 am Tuesday.
No injuries were reported. The fire was put out at 1 pm. The center shelters some 3,500 persons displaced by wars in Myanmar.
