Family displaced after blaze

KHOTANG: A family of Sundel-8, Bayang in Khotang has been left in the lurch after a fire destroyed their house on Monday. Fire engulfed Tek Bahadur Rai’s house destroying all the property, food grains, ornaments, and clothes among others. Rai’s wife Manika was injured in the incident while she was trying to rescue their child’s clothes. As per the preliminary investigation, property worth Rs four lakh was destroyed in the blaze. Rai’s eight-member family has been taking shelter at a neighbour’s house.
