Rush-hour bus fire in Wuxi New District

A fire broke out on a shuttle bus during the rush hour in Wuxi New District, Wuxi, Jiangsu, on April 22. No casualties were reported after the bus burst into flames.
The fire was soon extinguished by firefighters, the Jiangnan Evening News reported. The incident took place at 07:50am local time when the rush hour impends.
The fire also damaged the traffic lights at the crossroad of South Changjiang Road and the 312 National Highway. The bus used to provide shuttle services in the district for company workers. According to the eyewitnesses on the bus, the fire first started in the bus engine and was noticed by passengers on the bus. The bus driver said he immediately stopped the bus and evacuated the passengers.
An investigation is under way to determine the cause of the fire
