Fire hits cold storage warehouse in Makati

A fire partially destroyed a three-storey building in Makati City Friday afternoon.
No one was hurt during the blaze.
Makati Fire Marshall Ricardo Perdigon said the fire started around 2:30 p.m. inside the cold storage building of the GMV Cold Keeper Corp. on Yakal Street, Barangay San Antonio.
Around 30 firetrucks responded to the blaze in the building, which is still under construction. It was put out around 3:29 p.m., Perdigon said.
Perdigon said some workers have been doing welding at the site before the fire broke out.
Arson investigators are still determining the cause and extent of damage of the blaze.
