Two children died in a fire that destroyed their home in Cainta, Rizal before dawn yesterday.
The remains of Reynaldo Tuazon Jr., 9, and his brother Ricardo, 5, were recovered from their room in Barangay San Andres at about 1:37 a.m.
Fire Officer 2 Morel Ricardo Manangan said an unattended candle sparked the blaze which lasted 30 minutes.
Investigation showed the victims were asleep when the fire broke out.
