Gazipur bicycle factory fire put out

A fire that ravaged a bicycle factory of Meghna Group in Gazipur has been put out after a frantic effort for two hours.
What sparked the fire and the extent of damage could not be known immediately.
Gazipur Fire Service’s Inspector Shaheen Alam said the ‘Transworld Bicycle Limited’ factory caught fire on Saturday afternoon.
The factory’s Assistant General Manger Md Solaiman said the fire originated from the assembly room and spiralled out of control in minutes.
