Plastic piles caused fire
Updated: 2015-05-03-01:00
A fire, which broke out at a recycling factory in Ang Thong’s Pho Thong district on Friday night, was suspected to have been caused by the naturally cumulative heat of compressed plastic piles, provincial police deputy chief Pol Colonel Chudech Kongkanpai said yesterday.
The plastic piles had been right outside the building and under hot sunlight, he added. The fire, which did not cause any injuries and engulfed the whole building, was brought under control by 2am yesterday. Damage is estimated at Bt5 million.
