Fire Destroys Dengkil House, Occupants In Kelantan For Raya

PUTRAJAYA, July 17 (Bernama) — Four friends who had returned to their village in Kelantan to celebrate Aidilfitri learned from a neighbour that their rented house in Dengkil was destroyed in a fire, along with a car and four motorcycles.
Sepang Police chief ACP Abd Aziz Ali said today the double-storey wooden house in Jenderam Desa caught fire at about 5 pm yesterday after an electrical short circuit.
A Myvi car, four motorcycles and electrical goods were also destroyed in the blaze, he said.
Abd Aziz said the electrical fuse at the house had burnt up twice previously, and had been replaced, he told Bernama.
The fire was put out by fire and rescue personnel from the Bangi and Cyberjaya stations, he said.
