Three Shops In Beseri Destroyed In Fire

PADANG BESAR, July 28 (Bernama) — Three shops in a row at Jalan Semadong, Beseri, here was razed in a fire early today.
According to a Fire and Rescue Department spokesperson, the incident occured about 4.28am involving a grocery shop and two restaurants situated opposite SMK Berseri.
Eighteen firefighters from Kangar and Padang Besar fire stations with three fire engines were deployed to the scene and managed to control the fire within 10 minutes after arriving at the scene.
The spokeperson said the losses incurred and cause of fire were still being ivestigated.
