Fire hits 12 houses in Cotabato City

At least 12 houses were damaged by fire that broke out in a residential area in Cotabato City, before dawn Tuesday.
Fire Inspector James Ra said that the fire brokeout in PC Hill area in Barangay Rosario Heights 1 after a downpour at around 2:20 a.m.
No one was reported hurt.
Ra said 10 of the houses were gutted to the ground. The local fire department placed the fire’s damage at P1 million.
He said that according to the residents, they saw sparks coming from an electric post that eventually turned into a fire that quickly spread to a store.
From the store, the fire spread to the other houses.
Rosary Heights 1 chairperson Nelson Morales said more than 12 families were dispolaced by the fire.
