Mercedes Benz Caught Fire On Federal Highway

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 21 (Bernama) — A man in his 40s, suffered a loss of almost RM500,000 after his Mercedes Benz driven by his employee was completely destroyed when it suddenly caught fire on the Federal Highway, here, Monday.
Petaling Jaya Fire and Rescue chief, Affendi Ismail said in the 10.50am incident, the driver of the Mercedes Benz and his companion, however, escaped unhurt.
Ten personnel from the Petaling Jaya and Subang Jaya fire stations rushed to the scene and managed to control and put out the fire within 10 minutes, he told Bernama.
Meanwhile, Mercedes Benz Malaysia said in a statement that it was investigating the incident.
