Fire guts shops in Dadar on Friday night

A fire broke out in three commercial shops located at Bhawani Shankar Road near Kabutarkhana in Dadar late Friday night. A firemen suffered minor injuries on account of some glass pieces piercing him.
Around 11pm on Friday, the fire brigade received a call about fire in a ground plus seven storied commercial structure. Eight fire engines, six water tankers and an ambulance were rushed to the spot.
The fire was confined to garments, electric wirings, computers and furniture in three of the shops. The fire brigade officials informed that the fire fighting system in the building was not in working condition.
