Fire Destroys Abandoned Restaurant Located In Front Of Istana Maziah

KUARA TERENGGANU, Sept 1 (BERNAMA) – A fire razed an abandoned restaurant made of wood located in front of Istana Maziah Castle, here, Saturday.
The fire also destroyed an adjacent two-storey building owned by Mara which was undergoing renovation in the 3.26am incident.
Kuala Terengganu Fire and Rescue Department operation commander, Abdullah Zawawi Mohamed said nobody was injured in the blaze and the cause of fire may have due to a short-circuit at the restaurant.
He told Bernama about 43 fireman in six fire engines were rushed to the scene and that they managed to bring the fire under control within 30 minutes.
