The Northeast Marwari Sanmelan demanded rehabilitation of the victim families and suggested that the state government provide loans to them. The sanmelan’s general secretary, Promod Tiwari, also urged the administration to take up measures to check selling and bursting of fire crackers in busy commercial areas.
